Employment Opportunities

  Licensed Practical Nurse – Full-Time – Position is responsible for patient triage, direct patient care and patient education. Staff LPN will also work as part of a nursing care team serving patients of all ages in a complete health care environment which includes primary medical, dental, behavioral health and nutrition care.

Qualifications: Current Commonwealth of Virginia LPN licensure required. Current BLS required. Minimum of two (2) years of family practice clinical experience at an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred. Community health or public health experience preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus.


  Family Nurse Practitioner – 2 Positions:  Full-Time and PRN/On-Call – Full-Time position offers a Monday through Friday 40 hour work week.  No weekends.  PRN/On-Call position offers work hours as needed to cover the patient schedule for provider vacations, etc.  This is a great opportunity for providers interested in working in 1-3 week intervals!  FNP will be responsible for comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications: Current Commonwealth of Virginia Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure required. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice.  Current DEA licensure required.  At least two (2) years of private practice, community health or public health experience required.  Must enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent clinical skills. Proficient computer and EMR skills required.

Bilingual skills a plus.

  Dental Assistant – Part-Time – This is a limited part-time position responsible for assisting Staff Dentist in the direct provision of primary care dental services in a small, satellite location in Reston.

Dental Assistant will work as part of a health services team serving patients of all ages in a comprehensive health care environment.  This position offers two (2) evenings per week, three to four hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

It’s a great opportunity for stay-at-home-parents or other professionals seeking an alternative to standard work day hours!

Qualifications:  Dental Assistant certificate required.  Current CPR and X-ray certification required.  Proficient computer and EMR skills required. Community health or public health experience a plus.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills required.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an integral part of the HealthWorks team. We ask volunteers to commit to volunteer three times a month for at least six months. All volunteers are required to have a background check, TB test, flu shot and up to date immunizations.
